The Victorian Amateur Chamber Music Society (VACMS) is an opportunity for amateur musicians to play chamber music. VACMS runs 4 play-in sessions a year at which wind and string participants play trios, quartets and quintets. Tutoring is often organised with leading Melbourne chamber musicians. Flinders Quartet is instantly recognisable as one of Australia’s most loved chamber music ensembles. They are a quartet for the 21st century and a highly respected force in Australian chamber music. Cellist Zoe Knighton has been a supportive friend of Preston Symphony Orchestra over many years, as an awe-inspiring soloist in June 2022 and as adjudicator for the Youth Concerto Competition in 2018.
