Hear Beethoven Inside Out!
Join the Preston Symphony Orchestra on May 11th for an Open Rehearsal of Beethoven’s 5th Symphony. Entry is free, and the public are invited to sit alongside the orchestra players!
Conductor Mario Dobernig may even be persuaded to pass the baton for a few bars.
“Beethoven Symphony Number 5 is an extraordinary work,” says Mario, ”and this is a fantastic opportunity for people to get a real feel for how a performance comes about.”

Would-be orchestral musicians are welcome to bring their instruments and join in.
